Years ago, we went looking for a Customs Agent, and started with Beacon. We were a very small company then, but Beacon quite happily started handling our small and insignificant imports. They never complained about the difficult nature of importing fireworks and how small the business that we offered them was.Over the years we have grown to full-time staff of eight and 30 part-timers around New Zealand. Beacon have always delivered their service, quietly and effectively, keeping on top the work, and removing from us the worry of handling our Customs work, which often occurred at peak fireworks times, when we are very busy.By Beacon standards, I am sure we are not a big customer, but we have never been made to feel that we are insignificant or a nuisance, rather that any query we've made was dealt with quietly and effectively. |

Back in the late seventies / early eighties I worked for a couple of local shipping companies, the only Freight Forwarder I found it a pleasure to work with was Beacon. Starting my own company, importing and exporting plastic (credit/ID) cards and equipment in 1986, I went back to Beacon as a client, and have continued to find they provide a service and knowledge combined with a helpful attitude we have not found elsewhere, and we deal with Freight Forwarders in a number of countries.
